 AP 1348 MV Akademik Sergey Vavilov in Wilhemina Bay – note the whale approaching the ship. Wilhelmina Bay lies between the Reclus Peninsula and Cape Anna, along the west coast of Graham Land. It was discovered by Gerlache during the Belgian Antarctic Expedition of 1897-99 and named for Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands, who was 18 years of age at the time.
